It is often said that my work is truly endowed with the real spirit and freedom of the Highlands of Scotland, and does capture the emotions felt by many, who travel to this special and ever changing land. The travellers often all too brief glimpses of its grandeur, its wildlife, its people and its traditions, combine to provide me with outlines for my works. Then with my passion for my art and my subject I try to transform both into my evocative views of 'my' Highlands... views which many say do capture as much emotion of the Highlands as they do the image. |
