| Having regularly
visited the Highlands for inspiration, I so fell in love with this 'my' part of Scotland
that I succumbed to what, for me was the inevitable.......my realisation that my home was
the Highlands of Scotland and I had now truly come home. All I had to do at that stage was to find a physical house which would match my ideological state......as if by destiny a remote cottage on the Aberchalder Estate on Loch Mhor, Gorthleck, was found. |

Here I can and now do indulge, for the benefit of all of my patrons, my twin passions of painting and of the Highlands. |
Providing those
who are fortunate enough to see, with insights into 'my' landscape, 'my' wildlife and 'my'
special world. This is the world which now, gratefully for myself, surrounds me every
single day of my life. The stunning
works of Glens, Lochs, Mountains and wildlife which I create are but
postcards of the Highlands past, present and future, which I am sending, with all of my
heart, to those who have the desire to receive. |

| Yorkshire born and bred, I took up painting on a full-time basis in 1972, after a severe traffic accident, which necessitated almost a full year's hospitalisation. | Entirely self-taught, I have lectured for Education Authorities, Art Clubs etc., on my work in painting and art restoration. |
